Zimbabwe has been chosen to host the sixth Transform Africa Summit, a key tech and digital event on the continent, from 26 to 28 April 2023 in Victoria Falls.
The Smart Africa Alliance organises the event, which typically attracts over 5,000 delegates from more than 100 countries. Heads of state, government ministers, industry leaders, and key players in ICT will gather to make core decisions for Africa’s socio-economic development under the theme “Connect, transform, and innovate.”
The focus will be on regulation and policy, digital infrastructure financing, capacity building, skills development, and digital continental trade.
The summit will feature exhibitions, discussion panels, and roundtables open to the public.
Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa will open the summit and welcome other dignitaries, including Rwandan President Paul Kagame.
