Emmppek Foods, a Nigerian egg powder producer, has declared its intention to supply egg powder to South Africa, which is currently grappling with an outbreak of avian flu that has led to egg shortages.

Emmppek Whole Egg Powder is a high-quality egg powder made from fresh eggs sourced from local farmers in Delta State, Nigeria. It is produced using modern technology and under strict quality control measures to ensure its purity and nutritional value.

Emmppek Foods Director Chris Edeh, speaking to the media at the Nigeria Cake Expo in Lagos yesterday, said that the company is committed to helping South Africa overcome its current egg shortage.

“We understand the challenges that South Africa is facing with the avian flu outbreak, and we are committed to doing our part to help,” Edeh said. “Our egg powder is a high-quality and nutritious product that can be used in a variety of applications, and we are confident that it can help to meet the needs of South African consumers.”

Emmppek Foods has a capacity of 30 tons of egg powder per month, and the company is ready to take up any order from South Africa.

South African grocery retailers Woolworths and Pick n Pay have already implemented limits on the number of eggs that customers can buy, and there are concerns that chicken meat shortages could be next.

Emmpkek Foods is confident that its egg powder can help alleviate the pressure on South Africa’s food supply.

The company is calling for interested buyers to contact them.
