Pretoria, South Africa – Last week, the Trade Council at the Danish Embassy in South Africa hosted a delegation of representatives from five Danish food processing companies: FOSS, BAADER, Mærsk, Marel, and Titan Containers.

The visit aimed to connect Danish companies with the South African food processing sector. The delegation toured three prominent South African food processing facilities – Lynca Meats, Supreme Chicken, and Cavalier Foods – gaining valuable insights into the industry’s landscape.

Representatives also met with South African food processing associations, fostering dialogue and identifying potential areas for collaboration and mutual growth.

The week culminated in a networking event organized by the Trade Council. There, the Danish delegates met with representatives from 16 South African food processing companies. This event aimed to not only establish new connections but also lay the groundwork for future partnerships that will strengthen trade and cooperation between Denmark and South Africa.
