The death of Kenyan LGBTQ rights activist Edwin Chiloba has brought attention to the dangers faced by members of the LGBTQ community in Kenya.
A pathologist has determined that Chiloba died from suffocation caused by socks being stuffed into his mouth.
Police suspect that Chiloba was killed at his home by his roommate, with whom he had a relationship, who is now being held as the main suspect along with four other individuals.
