With just two weeks to go until the highly anticipated February 25 presidential election, the Labour Party’s candidate, Peter Obi, has reflected on his campaign.

As he concluded his state-to-state rallies with a final stop in Lagos on Saturday, Obi took to Twitter to express his gratitude for the support he has received.

“Today, the LP and the Obidient Family will finish the state rallies in Lagos. It’s been a whirlwind and a truly enriching experience across the 36 states,” he said. “Thank you, Nigerians, for your constructive engagement. Our mission to take back Nigeria is real and the core objective is in sight. Let’s make it happen. Saving Nigeria is now or never.”

At 11 AM, Obi arrived at Alaba International Market for his first stop in Lagos. He was expected to address his supporters before moving on to a town hall and the campaign rally at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS).

The candidate stated that after traveling the country, he is more aware of the problems facing Nigeria than ever before, and he held himself responsible for addressing them.

Obi noted that the market was built by hardworking people and that the government has done nothing to improve it. He promised to return as President to tackle the issues in the area.

The candidate urged his supporters not to be intimidated by rumors that a vote for him would have negative consequences, and he promised to stand with them no matter what, as Nigeria belongs to all.

The LP’s governorship candidate in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, was also present at the event.

Our most profound and heartfelt appreciation goes to the People of Lagos State, the Obidient Family and especially the Lagos State LP-PCC and LOC members. Lagos has demonstrated why it is cosmopolitan and central to politics and good governance in Nigeria. Eko Oni Baje. pic.twitter.com/5jLspjoK6L
