The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has denied rumors about him taking a new wife.
In a statement released by his media aide, Tunde Rahman, Tinubu stated that these reports are “fake and groundless” and that he is happily married to his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
The statement went on to say that the purpose of spreading these false rumors was to cause discord within Tinubu’s family and among the Christian community.
However, Tinubu and his wife will not be distracted by these baseless news and will continue to focus on his campaign to become the President of Nigeria.
Senator Oluremi Tinubu is also actively participating in the campaign by canvassing support for her husband across the country.
The statement concluded by urging the public to disregard the false news.
