Rtd AVM Bali Ninkap Napoleon of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has emerged victorious in the National Assembly elections held on Saturday, beating Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong who is also the Director General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), in the race for the Plateau South Senatorial District slot.
According to the results announced by the Returning Officer Professor Meshak Goyit, Bali Napoleon of the PDP secured a total of 148,844 votes, while Governor Lalong of the APC received 91,674 votes. Tobias Nda of the Labour Party scored 17,325 votes.
