Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Lagos Labour Party Governorship Candidate, held a joint interactive session with Arewa Community and other ethnic groups, assuring them of a better Lagos if elected.
Rhodes-Vivour emphasized that he was committed to delivering a state that would work for all residents, irrespective of their ethnic nationality.
He promised to provide a safe Lagos with standardized education and healthcare and free of harassment by touts.
Rhodes-Vivour identified poverty as the main enemy and promised to end it, stating that everyone should benefit from the state’s resources. Isaac Balami, a Labour Party chieftain, also emphasized that Rhodes-Vivour would provide security, welfare, healthcare, and alleviate the suffering of the masses.
Arewa leader Alhaji Mohammed Ali and other group leaders promised to mobilize their members for the election and requested that Rhodes-Vivour should carry all groups along.
The meeting was attended by some LP leaders.
