Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are showing keen interest in signing Nigerian international Victor Osimhen, following his outstanding performance during his season with Napoli.
Osimhen has become one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe, with top clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid also showing interest in signing him.
The 24-year-old has been prolific for Napoli, scoring 25 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions and helping his team to a commanding position in the Serie A table, with a chance of winning their first Scudetto since 1990. However, Bayern Munich seems determined to acquire his services and has reportedly opened discussions with Napoli for a potential deal worth €120m plus bonuses, despite the Little Donkeys placing a £150m price tag on their star striker this summer.
Italian media reports suggest that Bayern Munich is “pressing very hard” to sign Osimhen and is willing to pay a high fee to secure his services. With such intense interest from top European clubs, it remains to be seen where Osimhen will end up playing next season.
